Diego Pooth suspended from golf lessons – what his mother Verona says about it

San Diego Pooth has a dream: He wants to become a golf pro. He emigrated to the USA to attend a renowned sports academy there. But shortly before the final exams, he was suspended from teaching.
San Diego Pooth emigrated to the United States to pursue his dream of becoming a golf pro: He left home at 18 to train at the IMG Sports Academy. Verona Pooth’s eldest son has now been suspended from golf lessons there. He can still take part in the school part, but he has to miss physical education. Fatal, because he wanted to earn a scholarship through good performance: Diego’s management commented RTL: “San Diego has been exempted from golf practice and will practice privately for the next six weeks until he graduates from high school at IMG Academy.”
The reason for this is probably that San Diego has disregarded the strict rules of the Academy. During a tournament in Tampa, a city in Florida, San Diego left the hotel again in the evening – without permission. He wanted to go out for a burger with three classmates. His mother Verona Pooth now commented on the “image Newspaper”:
Verona Pooth doesn’t think that’s a “just punishment” for her son: “I’m actually very happy that I have a child with rough edges, I don’t want a nerd who does everything right in life.” He now has to take private training lessons until he graduates.
Things seemed to be going pretty well for Diego: He recently signed a model contract with the renowned “Elite Model Management Miami”. He said to the “Bild Zeitung”: “I really want to earn my own money. When I go to college in June, I want to be able to afford a car and an apartment. I don’t want to get the money for it from my parents.” A career as a model should ensure him financial independence. He wants to study economics at university, but his real dream is to be a golf pro.
