It was a shock for Verona and Franjo Pooth on Christmas Eve. The family was targeted by intruders at Christmas. Now they want to protect their property with a new alarm system.
At Christmas of all times, Verona Pooth (53) and her husband Franjo had to make a highly unpleasant discovery. Thieves ravaged their villa in Meerbusch near Düsseldorf on Christmas Eve. They stole cash, bags and jewelry worth several hundred thousand euros, including Verona Pooth’s “complete wedding jewelry,” as she told the “Bild” newspaper last weekend. The burglars tore a firmly anchored safe from the wall – and transported it from Verona Pooth by car.
