The court is convinced that Sebastian T. killed the 23-year-old in October 2022. The convicted person listens to the judge’s verdict without any noticeable reaction. His defense attorney Regina Rick announces an appeal.
For 34 days of the trial, Sebastian T. sat almost motionless in the dock in the Traunstein regional court and remained silent. Most of the time he calmly listened to people talking about whether it was he who attacked medical student Hanna Wörndl from behind in Aschau on the morning of October 3, 2022, beat her and threw her unconscious into the Bärbach, where she then drowned. If he showed any emotion, it was a smile, for example when it came to the fact that no one in the prison wanted to play chess against him anymore because he always won. Desperation about his own situation, compassion for Hanna Wörndl’s parents, Sebastian T. didn’t show any of that.
