Venice Biennale: What about World Art Show? – Culture

It’s spring, public life is beginning, the museums are full in many places. German houses record a rush of visitors every day, which is otherwise only possible on bad weather Saturdays in autumn. The art public has obviously not forgotten how to visit exhibitions over the years of the pandemic, as feared. And the season could have been big: It’s an art year. Because the Venice Biennale, which was postponed by a year due to the pandemic and starts this week, is only the first of many major events. Documenta Fifteen will follow in June, the world art show that only takes place every five years, after the Berlin Biennale and before Manifesta, which is a European traveling exhibition in Pristina this year.
