An electrical appliance in the bathroom ensured that a single-family house in the Vaterstettener Biberweg caught fire on Monday night. The two residents could still dial the emergency number at 1.30 a.m., but the wife could no longer leave the building independently and had to be fetched from the house by the rescue service. Both residents were taken to the hospital with mild smoke gas intoxication. The police officers estimate the property damage to the building to be around 10,000 euros.
