A father from Stetten is now at the head of the FDP in the Free State: Martin Hagen was elected as the new state chairman at the party conference on Saturday. The 40-year-old succeeds Daniel Föst, who himself proposed Hagen as his successor. Hagen has been a member of the Bavarian state parliament since 2018, where he is also chairman of the FDP parliamentary group and a member of the federal executive committee since 2019. Since 2020, the Vaterstettener has also been represented in the Ebersberg district council. Hagen is part of the FDP delegation in the coalition negotiations for a new federal government in Berlin.
