Vaterstetten: charity tournament with many celebrities – Ebersberg

On September 10th, the Vaterstetten stadium will be dedicated to a good cause. From 1 p.m. onwards, Rotary Germany is organizing a special kind of charity event there: a football tournament with many celebrities. Proceeds from the event benefit projects that support disadvantaged children. Parallel to the tournament, there will be a colorful supporting program with music, a raffle and much more for the whole family.

The five prominent teams will play against each other from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on a small field in tournament mode. In addition to the Rotary team, there will be a partner team, a media team and the DFB All-Stars team, including captain Jens Nowotny, Benny Lauth and Renate Lingor. Paul Breitner, Sven Bender and Heiko Westermann are also in demand for this team.

Also present is the high-calibre team from FC Sternstunden, the volunteer football team from the Sternstunden charity campaign. Among others, the former ex-professionals Andi Görlitz, Jan Mauersberger, ex-Bundesliga coach Manuel Baum, the bobsleigh world and European champion Manuel Machata, Horst Fuchs, team manager of the German national ice hockey team, TV presenter Tom play in it Meiler and other celebrities from the fields of sports and entertainment.

The march of the teams with flags behind the brass band Ammerthaler is at 1 p.m., the award ceremony at 6 p.m. The tournament will be moderated by Christian Akber-Sadé from sky as the official stadium announcer. The SC Baldham-Vaterstetten plays a leading role in the organization.

It is only played for a good cause. The proceeds from the entire charity event benefit charitable projects to support disadvantaged children – including the Lichtblick Hasenbergl Foundation in the Munich area, a football project run by the DFB Foundation “Sepp Herberger” and a Rotary project for children in the townships of Cape Town. In addition, Sternstunden eV can also look forward to part of the donation.
