The suspect was placed in police custody for “voluntary homicide by spouse”, specified Éric Mathais, the public prosecutor of Bobigny. The femicide took place overnight from Friday to Saturday. Alerted by the couple’s neighbors, the police intervened around 1:30 a.m. and first spotted traces of blood around the residential residence, according to a police source.
