It is rather surprising that the suspect in this crime was completely sober with 0.0 per mille of alcohol in his blood: According to the police, a 32-year-old man threw a borrowed e-scooter through the window of a car repair shop in Hasenbergl on Friday night. He then stole a bicycle from the store, pushed it on foot to a bank and finally daubed a right-wing slogan on an ATM in the lobby.
A local resident noticed the spectacle and called the police. They arrested the 32-year-old. As it turned out, the suspect was not entirely unknown to the officers. A spokesman confirmed that it was a man known to the police who had already come to attention for other right-wing crimes. Now he will be brought before an investigating judge.
