Monday, January 24: Entry into force of the vaccination pass and vaccination booster for all adolescents
The vaccination pass, succeeding the health pass for people at least 16 years old, will come into force from Monday “subject to the decision of the Constitutional Council” Friday, seized by deputies and senators of the opposition, announced John Castex. This pass will be used to access leisure activities, restaurants and drinking establishments, fairs, seminars and trade shows and interregional public transport. February 2: End of wearing a mask outdoors and compulsory telework
The Prime Minister added that wearing a mask would no longer be compulsory outdoors from February 2, the date on which the gauges will be abandoned in places open to the public.

February 16: Reopening of nightclubs and return of standing concerts
Discotheques, which had been closed since December 10 because considered conducive to contamination by Covid-19, will be able to reopen on February 16, and standing concerts will be able to resume on this date, announced the Prime Minister. On Wednesday 16 February, standing consumption will also be possible again in bars. It had been banned from January 3. In addition, consumption will again be possible in stadiums, cinemas and transport.
Early March: Possible reduction in the health protocol at school
Jean Castex also indicated that the government was “considering” a reduction in the health protocol for schools upon returning from the February holidays. “We will be able to consider, on the return from the February school holidays, a reduction in the health protocol” within schools, in terms of wearing a mask or the tests to be carried out, indicated the Prime Minister. The last zone holiday return date is March 7th.
