The events of Thursday could soon be considered classics in the collection of curiosities in federal politics. In Berlin, people will be talking about how this traffic light government (“You know, the one with Scholz!”) didn’t even manage to win a vote on the rules of procedure when it came to compulsory vaccination. And how the many vaccination advocates in their ranks then seamlessly failed in the challenge of getting more yes than no votes for their vaccination requirement from the age of 60.
