The jagged peaks of the Wilder Kaiser are so close that at the Priener Hütte you almost think you’re in Tyrol. In keeping with the view of the Kaiser, guests enjoy a Kaiserschmarrn on the sun terrace at an altitude of 1410 meters. “I think in the beginning we were judged by the locals by the quality of the Kaiserschmarrn”, jokes Sebastian Lohrmann, who with his wife Rosa took over the Alpine Club hut of the Prien section in the Geigelstein nature reserve on May 1st of this year. “Our lentils with root vegetables have also become very popular.”
