Vacation and relaxation: How to save your relaxation in everyday life

Just got back to work and already stressed – but you had only vacation and were relaxed. Why it is so difficult to keep the relaxation in everyday life. And what you can do to make it happen.

On the lounger by the pool, the thing was clear: never again will you let yourself be as stressed as in the weeks leading up to your vacation! That makes you sick. And while you’re lying there, it feels like a lot of calls could wait. That next time you calmly tell the boss that you are not available for the extra task. And anyway: From now on just stay calm.

Then comes the first day in the office, in the classroom or in the clinic. And after 30 minutes at the latest you are where you were before your vacation: on the palm tree. The pulse beats faster, the blood pressure rises. And already at noon you forgo the short break that you had planned so hard to take.
