Using your smartphone: New courses in the Buxtehude city library

wd/nw. Buxtehude. The city library is offering a smartphone course for the Android operating system at the end of November, and there are still places available in the new introductory courses for iPhone and iPad:
The Android course dates with lecturer Silke Pieper take place on Fridays on November 24th, December 1st, 8th and 15th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The cost of the offer in the city library, Fischerstraße 2, is 60 euros. The course is limited to eight people.
In the courses, the lecturer explains the basics and clarifies questions about using the smartphone. Tips for buying a new smartphone are also given.
There are also still places available in the introductory course for iPhone or iPad (Apple’s iOS operating system) at the Buxtehude Vocational School (BBS) in November.
Students explain the basics and functionality of smartphones, answer specific questions about the telephone function, emails, camera, gallery, navigation, WhatsApp, calendar or the setup of contacts, settings and security aspects. The participants can influence the lesson content.
The course takes place every Friday on November 10th, 17th and 24th from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the vocational school, Konopkastr. 7 instead. The course fee is 50 euros. The course is limited to ten people.
