Donald Trump was in the mood to joke on the morning of April 1st. “I am suspending my campaign,” he wrote in a text message to his supporters. A link below led to his website, where the former president wished him a “Happy April Fool’s Day.” However, the request for donations below was not an April Fool’s joke, nor was the promise of the designated Republican presidential candidate: he would never give up. In capital letters, of course.
