Amy Schneider seemed unstoppable, invincible, omniscient: she had won the US quiz show “Jeopardy” 40 times in a row and set several records in the process. She had made a large amount of money while doing a lot for the acceptance of people who identify as transgender. But since, as is well known, all good things come to an end, their winning streak is now over. In her 41st appearance, Schneider lost to a friendly Chicago librarian.
