Visitors to Disneyland were amazed by a flaming spectacle on Saturday, which, however, was not planned. During the “Fantasmic” show, a dragon didn’t stop at spitting fire. The whole figure suddenly burst into flames. No one was seriously injured, according to the Anaheim, California fire department, but six workers were treated for smoke inhalation. It was initially unclear why the fire broke out. The “Fantasmic” show has been a staple at California’s theme park since the early 1990’s. According to local media reports, Drachen was the Maleficent, the show’s villain. At least it lived up to its reputation as a fire-breathing monster.
