Watch the video: Impressive aerial photos – “Fire tornadoes” rage in California.

STORY: In these images from a US broadcaster, you can clearly see how the flames sucked in the hot, dry air from the area, creating a veritable fire tornado. This phenomenon is also called fire devil. The columns of fire were part of a bush fire in Gorman, California, this week that had spread to more than 150 hectares by Wednesday and was last fought by more than 200 firefighters. Like anywhere else in the world, rising temperatures and strong winds are causing wildfires to flare up on the west coast of the United States. The fire here in Gorman has recently destroyed more and more vegetation, but houses and apartments are not threatened, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
