The massive use of smartphones and social media began in the early 2010s in the countries the tech industry is interested in. The effects are still not fully explored. With a study from several countries deliver the Scientist Jean Twenge and her colleague Jonathan Haidt now indicate that wherever smartphone and social media are used heavily, the number of teenagers who feel lonely has increased significantly, just as significantly as technology use. What follows from this? A conversation.
