US cop stops Raser colleagues – anger, argument and an indictment follow

Watch the video: US cop stops speeding colleagues – anger, argument and a hefty charge follow.

This scene from a police camera is an absolute rarity. A Florida sheriff’s deputy pursues another police car and tells the driver to stop. The Orlando cop didn’t respond for a few minutes, just kept driving. The policeman had driven almost twice as fast on a street as the legal limit. When the Orlando police car finally pulls up, a heated argument ensues between the officers. “What?” the cop asks the deputy aggressively. “I’m going to work, my friend. Why are you trying to stop me?” “Because at 80 you’re driving in a 45 zone,” replies the deputy. When asked about his driver’s license, the policeman says no, gets back into the police SUV and leaves the crime scene with the blue lights on. The police officer was later arrested and charged with speeding, reckless driving, resisting law enforcement officers and fleeing police, Seminole District Court filings show. “Officer Shaouni has been suspended from duty pending the completion of the Seminole County Sheriff’s criminal investigation and the OPD’s internal investigation,” the department said in a statement. Police say he posted bail of $9,000.
