Binance Smart Chain has temporarily stopped working. On Twitter, BNB Chain said, “We have suspended BSC after looking at potential vulnerabilities. The entire system is now controlled. And we are investigating potential vulnerabilities immediately.”
The vulnerability comes after it was discovered that more than $400 million worth of BNB tokens were transferred from the Smart Chain token hub.to addressnew according to information from DeBank The address in question was found to hold over $500 million worth of crypto, with holdings in ETH, MATIC and FTM among others.
Binance said that the network “Under maintenance” and “We will temporarily suspend all deposits and withdrawals via the BNB network until further updates.”
