Speranza, hope – that is a motto of this year’s Easter celebrations in the Christian churches. On the one hand, this is not very original, but on the other hand it is exactly the right signal in the current time, which is causing many people to despair. The crises of the world are obvious, the dramatic climate crisis has been joined by the return of war in Europe and, more recently, the escalation of the situation in Israel. The Pope expressly took a position on this in Rome during the services for the most important festival of the Catholic Church.
