Urban art for a large construction site in Munich. – Munich

Munich’s city center will be a little more colorful in the next few days: under the guidance of Leni Burger and Julian Momboisse Students from the Herrnstrasse elementary school designed posters last summer. These will be hung on the 240 square meter noise barrier of a large construction site on Hochbrückenstrasse next Tuesday, February 6th. The children were able to refine their sketches freely using brushes, markers and spray cans, says Burger. The freelance illustrator and urban artist also finds the project so exciting because it gives young people a kind of mouthpiece. Julian Momboisse, who will soon be completing his studies at the art academy, is enthusiastic about the project because every child at the school took part. Everyone had the chance to express themselves creatively. Now they can share their wishes, needs and thoughts with the outside world on this huge, gray slab wall, explains Momboisse.
