Update on the disruptions expected on Wednesday on the SNCF and RATP network

Wednesday, the day after the tenth day of mobilization against the pension reform, the SNCF provides for an improvement in traffic on its network, on the main lines, the TER and the Paris suburbs. 4 out of 5 TGVs will have to run on the 23rd day of the renewable strike, announced the SCNF, but also two-thirds of the Intercités and three-quarters of its TERs, a spokesperson said on Tuesday. Night trains will slowly start to run again and traffic will be “almost normal” on the Eurostar and Thalys.

On the Île-de-France rail network, train traffic will improve markedly, lines C, D, L and R remaining the most disrupted with 2 trains out of 3. The management plans to run 3 trains in parallel on 4 on average on its part of RER A – as well as the RATP on its part – and on line N. It plans 4 trains out of 5 on line H.

No disruptions expected on the RATP network

The service will be normal, or almost, on RER B and E, as well as on lines J, K, U, T4, T11 and T13, line P having a more or less disrupted service depending on the branch. Still in Ile-de-France, traffic should be normal on the RATP network, except for the RER A.

The railway unions have called for a renewable strike since March 7, until the government withdraws its pension reform. The movement is more or less followed, with more significant disturbances on days of interprofessional mobilization, like this Tuesday.
