There had already been discussions about the color of a gym floor at the meeting of the culture committee in December. At that time it was about a fresh lime yellow for the new gymnasium in the Vöttinger school. This had been the subject of controversy when the color concept was presented. In particular, the city councilors Susanne Günther (Greens), Andreas Mehltretter (SPD) and Robert Weller (Free Voters) could not get used to it.

Susanne Günther criticized the fact that the different colors in the Freising sports halls confused the children from club sports because they trained in different halls and had to change over and over again when changing. There are no restrictions on the planned color.
