On the road, you need water and warm clothes

Users are invited to limit their travel, and to favor public transport if this is not possible. If you have to take the road alone, minimum equipment, with water, warm clothes and food, is recommended, in case you are stuck for a few hours.

Traffic conditions “improved in the morning”, after the chaos caused by snowfall during the night from Monday to Tuesday with its procession of blocked vehicles and the temporary closure of the A12 and A13 motorways in the west of the Ile-de-France region. Yvelines and Essonne are the only two Ile-de-France departments kept on orange alert for snow and ice on Wednesday, while France experienced one of the coldest days in six years on Tuesday.
