The usual superlatives for yachts are obvious: who has the longest yacht, who has the largest yacht and whose sailing yacht trumps all the others? But a ship can do more than luxury and megalomania – sometimes things move very quickly with the noble watercraft.
How fast only becomes clear when you compare it – it is always measured in knots (1 knot corresponds to 1.8 kilometers per hour). A luxury yacht like Jeff Bezos’ “Koru”, for example, can do around 20 knots. That’s a comfortable 37 km/h. The world’s largest yacht “Dilbar” travels at 22.5 knots (41.7 km/h). The longest yacht in the world, the “Azzam”, is faster – it reaches 31.5 knots (58 km/h).

However, this is not nearly enough for the top 10. Because the list only starts at 55 knots – and thus above the magical limit of 100 kilometers per hour.
Of course, these ships are no longer 100-meter giants with helipads and underwater garages – but most of them still don’t lack luxury.
