Up and down in the number of infections – district of Munich

There were ups and downs in the number of infections in the Munich district over the weekend. While on Saturday, as in the days before, the incidence rose rapidly and reached a maximum of 710.6, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) only reported an incidence of 685.5 on Sunday. However, the numbers at the weekend should often be viewed with caution, as reports sometimes reach the authorities late. According to the RKI, 2,397 people in the district have been newly infected with the corona virus within the past seven days. The district office also points out the relaxed quarantine rules that have been in effect since Saturday. Accordingly, the following contact persons no longer have to go into quarantine if they are free of symptoms: Those who have been vaccinated three times (completely vaccinated + booster vaccination), those who have recovered within the first three months after illness, those who have been vaccinated within the first three months after the second vaccination, those who have recovered with an additional vaccination and those vaccinated with the J&J vaccine who are additionally vaccinated twice. For contact persons without symptoms who were still in quarantine on Saturday and belong to the group of people mentioned, the quarantine ended immediately.
