The SPD in Unterschleißheim has a new chairman. Birte Bode, 44, took office at the most recent general meeting after a unanimous vote. Bode has been a member of the city council since 2020 and is the city’s social officer and deputy environmental and transport officer. She graduated from the Carl-Orff-Gymnasium, is a chemist and patent attorney and the mother of two primary school children. According to the party, your predecessor Philipp Wallner gave up the SPD presidency after two and a half years for professional reasons. The new board will be completed by city councilors Thomas Breitenstein, Annegret Harms and Antje Kolbe as deputy chairmen, as well as newcomer Andreas Graw, a 32-year-old physicist. Karl Boscher remains treasurer and 47-year-old Franziska Wolfschmidt takes over the administration. Assessors are City Councilor Peter Rein, Dietmar Kemkemmer and Siegfried Hentschel. Mayor Christoph Böck is a member of the committee by virtue of his office.
