The volunteers of the BRK district association in Munich worked 88,000 hours last year. Around 3900 people are involved in the aid organization for the population in the city and in the district of Munich. During the week of civic engagement, the volunteer members of readiness, mountain rescue, water rescue, youth red cross and welfare and social work invite you to get to know the volunteers and their work. The BRK district association has more than 20 appointments on its calendar. Under the motto “We from the water rescue service”, those interested can find out more on Saturday, September 11th from 3 pm, for example at the Heimstettner and Unterschleißheimer See, at the Feringasee and in the Unterhaching open-air pool. The readiness of the Munich Red Cross are, among other things, active in the medical service or in civil protection and disaster control. They invite you to a personal exchange on Friday, September 10th, 7.30pm to 9pm, for example in Sauerlach, Wolfratshausener Straße 16, and in the Rotkreuzhaus Deisenhofen, Kybergstraße 24.
