A 23-year-old motorcyclist left the road in Unterschleißheim on Monday afternoon and was seriously injured. According to the police, the young woman from Munich was on State Road 2053 shortly before 4 p.m. Although she wasn’t driving particularly fast, she lost control of her motorcycle in a right-hand bend near the entrance to the Ingolstädter Landstrasse for an unknown reason, turned left onto the grass verge and fell. The 23-year-old sustained multiple fractures and a head injury and was taken to hospital by ambulance for inpatient treatment. According to the police, there was no danger to life. Damage to the motorcycle amounted to several thousand euros.
