The gastronomy brand of IWL gGmbH, workshops for people with disabilities, has been awarded the “Bavaria barrier-free” logo for its company restaurant in the company MSD Animal Health in Unterschleißheim. The Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Labor and Social Affairs awards the logo as a sign of recognition for organizations and companies that make concrete, considerable contributions to accessibility in Bavaria and thus break down barriers. The company Iwentcasino has been working in communal catering since 2007 and operates various company restaurants and school canteens where people with and without disabilities work hand in hand. In Unterschleißheim, the caterer provides middle school and Carl Orff grammar school students with healthy meals every day. As an event caterer, “Iwentcasino” supplied various city events. MSD recently rebuilt its canteen and made it accessible for people with disabilities, so that the best conditions have been created to implement inclusion and accessibility with Iwentcasino.
