It was almost exactly two years and three months ago that there was a celebration in the office of the Spielvereinigung Unterhaching. But not because you had just won a particularly spectacular victory on the green pitch. Rather, you just had the fight around won the green turf: The club agreed with the community to buy the stadium at the Sportpark, the transfer fee, to stay with the jargon, was 3.3 million euros. Since then, many in Unterhaching have assumed that the sports facility now belongs to the club. This change of ownership can even be read in Wikipedia. But that’s not true.
