An attentive neighbor alerted the fire brigade in Unterhaching on Tuesday afternoon after discovering a fire in a building on the forest road. As the police announced on Wednesday, it was a basement fire in a vacant property. At around 4:15 p.m., the Unterhaching volunteer fire brigade was deployed and was able to extinguish the fire. According to police, no one was in the house at the time of the fire. According to the current state of investigation, the property damage amounts to several tens of thousands of euros. Commissariat 13 of the Munich Police Headquarters, which is responsible for fire crimes, has taken over the investigation to clarify the cause of the fire.
