The course for the much-heralded turnaround in traffic can no longer be set here. The track between Unterhaching and Neubiberg, overgrown by moss and trees, is a remnant of the former military airfield that used to be here. Trains have not run on it for a long time and will not run again. In return, nature is increasingly reclaiming this piece of contemporary history.
