Orphaned: Fridays are not worked in four out of five buildings on the large Allianz campus in Unterföhring.

Because almost all employees are in the home office shortly before the weekend anyway, four of the five buildings on the Allianz campus will be switched off on Thursday evening. There are then only jobs in a house in which heating, light and ventilation continue to run.

The kitchen is very busy this early morning. They tirelessly chop vegetables, clean salad and stir in large pots. The 20 or so cooks still have a lot to do in the remaining hours until the staff restaurant in Building 5 on the Allianz campus in the Unterfoehringer industrial park opens and 450 employees can satisfy their hunger there. If you don’t want to eat in the house, you can take the dishes provided in jars home with you. This became commonplace during the Corona pandemic under the keyword “Meal at home” and is still very popular with the staff today.
