Unknowns fished a complete fish pond empty in Upper Franconia. Three large sturgeons, around 400 trout and around 100 char had disappeared from the water in a forest near Bad Staffelstein (Lichtenfels district), the police said on Monday. Perhaps the perpetrators would have used networks, said a spokeswoman.
The theft must have been committed between Friday afternoon and Sunday morning. It is very likely that the thieves would have taken the fish away in a car, said the police spokeswoman. We are now looking for witnesses.
