Trading volume on Coinbase exchange falls below decentralized exchange Uniswap It’s the second month in a row. Spot market volume on Uniswap hit $71.6 billion in March. That’s 45% higher than Coinbase’s, according to The Block Research.
March thus became the decentralized exchange’s best month in terms of volume since January 2022.
Spot market volume on Coinbase was $49.4 billion last month, up 23% from about $40 billion in February.
Uniswap’s surge comes amid government threats of regulatory action against centralized crypto businesses in the United States — particularly in February and March.
