It would have been so nice if the astronomer Herschel had been right with his moon observations at the beginning of the 19th century. With the help of a new super-telescope, he saw a “bluish creature about the size of a goat, and with a single horn that curves forward a little”. So finally we had certainty! The unicorn that so many in the course of cultural history looked for or thought they had seen lived all along on the moon – at least that was the misconception of the scientist.
