He has now sat here for almost four hours, on one of the rows of stone benches at Pier Head in Liverpool, with the water slapping against the dock walls behind him and the magnificent buildings they call the “Three Graces” in front of him. Wayne Colquhoun, 55 years old, dark gray, neatly coiffed hair, sunglasses, shirt and leather jacket, sonorous radio voice, he has talked and talked about all the madness of the past twenty years. The corruption. The cover-up. The dirty money. And the ignorance, especially the ignorance.
