A teacher’s word against a student’s word. In Lannion, in the Côtes-d’Armor, a student was permanently excluded from the Félix Le Dantec high school. He is accused by a teacher of having masturbated and having touched her buttocks while he was alone in class with her, reports the agency Press Pepper. She had filed a complaint. Thursday, February 23, his family seized the administrative court of Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine) to request the reinstatement of the high school student. Indeed, the latter disputes any bad gesture and speaks of an “uncontrolled erection”.
During the hearing, the young man’s lawyer considered that it was a situation of “discomfort” that the high school student would have “tried to hide”. The disciplinary council ruled in favor of a definitive exclusion of the student, who has not been in school since January 18, the day after the events. The young Spanish teacher has been on sick leave since the incident. The decision of the administrative court is expected at the beginning of the week.
