Un poco adagio in Salzburg – Bavaria

Wolferl and Trachtenschick everywhere you look – the city and its festivals have a reputation that precedes them. But if you get hold of a ticket yourself, you will be in for a surprise.

Salzburg is one of the most beautiful cities in Bavaria, even though it is currently under Austrian administration as a result of all sorts of historical accidents. In this respect, it is only logical that the Bavarian section of the SZ deals with Salzburg, all the more so because the city, together with Tegernsee and Kitzbühel, is one of the most important places of longing for the Munich jacket and dirndl fraction. Everything here is so homely, so tangled and tangled, from the Mozarteum to Wolferl’s birthplace to the Wolferlkugeln and Haferlschuhmacher, that strolling through the old town puts you in a pleasant “Andante ma un poco adagio” state.
