Ulrich Wolfstädter wants to be naked. He sees himself as right

Is it a crime to expose yourself in public? No, says Ulrich Wolfstädter. A visit.

Ulrich Wolfstädter lives on a small, friendly street on the outskirts of Freiburg. Terraced houses with front gardens in which bushes and hedges grow. Children playing on the sidewalk. Someone is mowing the lawn. It’s a warm, sunny late summer day. Weekend in a German suburban settlement. Nothing could be more normal.

Until Ulrich Wolfstädter opens the door.

There stands a sporty man in his mid-40s, completely naked. From his head with his razor-short hair down to his feet, he wears nothing more than his square metal-rimmed glasses.
