Ukraine’s guerrilla tactics prove successful: revenge also hits civilians (video)

Watch the video: Ukrainian special forces block the Russian advance – revenge will also hit civilians.

Henrik Holdman: Videos are circulating on the internet showing Ukrainian surprise attacks by small groups. Are such guerrilla methods now Ukraine’s new defense tactics?
Gernot Kramper: Yes without question. So the Ukraine is holding back the Russian advance by attacking the long supply lines and by these small troops and the man-portable anti-tank missiles and anti-aircraft missiles that make it possible. These missiles have an effective range of 1000, 2000 meters. This means that the small group does not necessarily have to go to the street to open fire. To do this, the Ukrainians use drones and direct artillery strikes with them. With this they try to stop the Russian advance by attacking the troops on the street. And we will see that more often. But what we will certainly also see or experience is that the Russian side will also take countermeasures. It is entirely to be expected that commandos from Russia or the Chechen commandos will in turn hunt down these Ukrainian groups in the rear and try to track them down. Also with drones, with cameras, but above all with everything that is there. And these groups will not then try to eliminate them man-to-man with knives like in a Hollywood film, but by sending massive artillery hits to where they are hiding. This will usually be some form of civil development.
