It is hardly a coincidence that Ukrainian investigators are now arresting longtime Zelenskyi supporter Ihor Kolomoyskyy and a Kiev judge then sends the oligarch into custody. As is so often the case, Ukraine has been shaken by a series of massive corruption scandals in the tax authorities, in the military offices and in the defense ministry. In the West, which is supporting Ukraine with more and more weapons and billions, that makes the worst possible impression. And that’s why Kiev is now resorting to a show action with the arrest of Kolomojskyj, who is suspected of manipulations worth billions, as has often been the case – which, of course, is not necessarily followed by deeds.
