Ukraine war: Zelenskyj accuses Russia of attacks on civilian areas

The deputy parliamentary group leader of the Greens, Konstantin von Notz, sees for Germany a serious risk of cyber attacks from Russia. “We’ve seen time and again in recent years that this is a method that Russia uses, and we’re vulnerable there,” Notz said on ZDF’s “Morgenmagazin”. Germany must “take this danger as seriously as possible” and “position itself hard and resolutely”. He cites financial markets, power supply, media and hospitals as examples of areas that could be affected.

The Green politician continues to reject German arms deliveries to Ukraine. “It’s a very complicated field. We support Ukraine with every other option we have and Ukraine has our full solidarity.” At the same time, he advocates keeping open the possibility of further sanctions against Russia. “If you also want to escalate the sanctions, you can’t play all your cards on the first day.”
