Zelensky is canceling all foreign trips in the coming days

Russia’s offensive on Kharkiv is causing serious problems for Ukraine. Now President Zelensky is canceling several trips abroad in view of the difficult situation.
The Spanish royal family had previously held a meeting between Zelensky and King Felipe VI planned for Friday. deleted from his website in Madrid. Zelenskyj had apparently also planned a trip to Portugal but has now been cancelled.
Russia, which has been waging a war of aggression against neighboring Ukraine for more than two years, launched a new offensive in the Kharkiv region in the border region last week. As a result, Russian troops occupied several Ukrainian villages near the border.
Recently, the Ukrainian army says it was forced to withdraw its soldiers from individual positions. “As a result of combat and offensive actions of the enemy, our units carried out maneuvers in certain areas in the Lukyantsi and Vovchansk areas and moved to more advantageous positions in order to save the lives of our soldiers and avoid casualties,” the Ukrainian General Staff said in the Wednesday night. But the message also said: “The fighting continues.”
