Ukraine war: Selenskyj holds flaming speech in front of the EU Parliament (video)

The European Union will be stronger with us, that’s for sure. Without you, Ukraine stands alone… Show that you are European. And then life will be over triumph over death, light over darkness,” said the President. He also spoke about the children in Ukraine. According to him, 16 of them were killed on Monday alone. “President Putin says this is an operation and they are beating military installations. But how do our children fit in? Do they work in weapons factories? Which missiles, please? Are they piloting tanks?” After the invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops, Selenskyj recently called for his country to be admitted to the EU, using an expedited procedure. Commission President Ursula von der Leyen also spoke out in favor of this. In an open letter, the governments of several Eastern and Central European countries called for an “immediate prospect of accession” for Ukraine.
