Ukraine war: 800 million US military aid for Ukraine – SPD “does not fundamentally rule out” tank deliveries

The United States has pledged another $800 million in military aid to Ukraine. This was announced by the White House on Wednesday after a phone call between US President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Weapons and ammunition, among other things, are to be delivered. These are said to include: 11 Russian-made helicopters, 200 armored personnel carriers, 100 armored general-purpose vehicles, 18 field howitzers with 40,000 artillery shells, protective equipment for chemical, biological and nuclear incidents, artillery and aerial reconnaissance systems, unmanned drones, anti-tank guided missiles, bulletproof vests and helmets, anti-personnel mines, explosives for clearing obstacles and an indefinite number of autonomous ships for coastal defense. The information comes from the US Department of Defense.
