Just in time for President Zelensky’s visit, the German government has promised Ukraine the largest delivery of tanks, drones and air defense systems to date. However, it is unclear whether some of them can already be used in the planned offensive.
When the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskij is on his way to Bellevue Palace in Berlin, the official residence of the Federal President, there is again an air alert in his home country. It was only the latest reminder that Russia continued its aggressive war against the country unabated. The federal government is apparently preparing for the fact that Ukraine will need support for a long time to come – also with weapons, in order to be able to defend itself against the Russian attacks.
